ACHIEVING EXCELLECE IN LOGISTICS |
Like previous years, 2009 in its turn recorded many investments in line with our strategy of reinforcement of the operational and human capacities to reach/achieve excellence in logistics.
In addition to the extension of the sub-regional network to C.A.R and soon to the two Congo, the park of machines, trucks and multiform vehicles witnessed a remarkable reinforcement. Many INHOUSE trainings and external seminars, allowed a qualitative reinforcement of the human capital, to position Transimex advantageously in the chain of the values of our most demanding customers.
It is this positioning that granted us the management of complex traffics for the humanitarian and military missions of Chad, for reputable petroleum companies, international logisticians as well as important Cameroonian industries.
The year 2010 will offer to Transimex a new opportunity of continuing its quest of excellence in logistics. From this point of view, the management of informational flows under ERP SAP will reach its apex, the programme of certification to the ISO standard will take greater steps, the total and efficient coverage of the market through our international partners will be consolidated, our harbour storage and handling capacities will know remarkable improvements in view of better positioning Transimex in the port’s activities.
Lastly, and to remain faithful to our social engagement, the human capital will remain at the centre of our strategy through a better medical upkeep, the support of sports activities, and as icing on the cake, the change of the INHOUSE trainings concept into a structure of recognized professional training: TRANSIMEX ACADEMY.
